August 2026 Summary 2026-09-05
My weekend focus in August was everywhere except on my tech projects from the past months. Some notable events in August:

• AC fixed
• Bathroom sink replaced
• Started feeding the local birds
• Weekend gaming group started back up
• Hyper-focused on the ammo-related hobby for much of my free time on the weekends

One interesting project I did take on was that I had Claude build a system for capturing outlines of “paper punches” and made them vector-based so that i could arrange/rotate and place them on a plane. The goal of the project was to efficiently arrange them so that I could carefully transport my paper punches to the range in the minimum amount of space. I didn’t end up building the actual product, but the tech that I was able to direct Claude to make was pretty slick.
